Congratulations to all our Happy Days Students 

on our Wonderful Awards Days!!


They were truly a celebration of our Happy Days Students Talents! 

Not  only did our Students receive outstanding Exam & Feis Results, Awards & Medals  but all Students received Certificates   of Achievement as well! 

Our Happy Days talented bunch also entertained us with wonderful performances of Drama, Dance, Singing, Poetry, Prose and lots lots more !

They also showed their artistic talents through designing and painting their scenery and props as well as creating the wonderful stage make up . Sharing some of the skills they learned through our Workshops during the year! 

What a great year and what a wonderful talented bunch of Happy Days Students we have !

has been nominated for an Oscar!

“Pentecost” featured 12 students from

Happy Days School of Performing Arts!

Our BIG SHOW was held on Sunday the
25th of March 2012 in the Helix Theatre!

Congratulations to all the Musical Theatre and Dancing Students for the great success of their show
'From Glee to Broadway'
  in aid of the Tramway Theatre, Blessington.

It was a fantastic day filled with Singing Dancing and lots of fun and laughter and raised €3,000 for the Tramway Theatre!

A big Congratulations for all those who took part in our Dance Workshop with Louise Costello, the dancer in residence with South Dublin County  Council recently!

It was a wonderful success! With Students having great fun and gaining new skills as well!

Happy Days wishes to congratulation Piers Ryan on  his climb of Mt Kilimanjaro in June in aid of the Childrens Hospital Crumlin!

Happy Days was delighted to support  this wonderful cause.

RTE programme ' Nationwide' interviewed Piers at his last training session. This was shown on June 15th at 7pm while Piers is doing his Climb.

Many of you will know Piers from our shows he was Mr Sowberry in the Matinee production of Oliver and he appeared in film Penticost ! He also was one of the Stage Management team in 'Happy Days at the Helix!'

Piers is the only member of the Climbing team from North County Dublin. He is a senior member of 'The Happy Days School of Performing Arts' in Swords & has been a pupil there for 10 years.

·············· Piers was part of a team of 13 teenage boys & 5 mentors preparing to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.The boys are all Transition year students from Belvedere College in Dublin. Their training for this huge event continues & to date they have been away climbing Croagh Patrick, training weekly in the Wicklow Mountains, climbing Slieve Foy in Carlingford, the Galtee Mountains Tipperary & the Burren in Co.Clare. RTE programme ' Nationwide' interviewed Piers at his last training session. This was be shown on June 15th at 7pm while Piers was doing his Climb.

········ The team· have chosen 'OUR LADY'S CHILDRENS HOSPITAL' Crumlin, Oncology Department as the charity they wish to do the climb for and have visited some of the children in the unit.

······· Piers and his team left Dublin on June 12th & return on June 24rd .Mt Kilimanjaro is the 4th highest mountain in the World ( 19 341 ft) It takes approx 7-10 days to reach the summit.

Ben Morris Winner of RTE's 'Fame the Musical' to give Master Classes in Musical Theatre!

Watch Antony & Cleopatra directed by Simon Godwin. At the fringes of a war-torn empire the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony have fallen fiercely in love. 

In a tragic fight between devotion and duty, obsession becomes a catalyst for war. Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient, James Bond: Spectre) and Sophie Okonedo (Chimerica, Hotel Rwanda) play Shakespeare’s famous fated couple in his great tragedy of politics, passion and power. Antony & Cleopatra is streaming for free 7pm UK time on Thursday 7 May.

Available until 7pm UK time on Thursday 14 May 2020. The running time is 3 hours 8mins with a short interval. It is subtitled. 

This filmed performance was given a BBFC rating of 12A and contains some staged violence and flashing lights.

Ben Morris Winner of RTE's 'Fame the Musical' gave Master Classes in Musical Theatre!

We are thrilled to announce that Ben Morris, Winner of RTE's 'Fame the Musical' competition gave Master Classes in Musical Theatre to our Senior students!

These classes were held in Blessington at the regular class time and were provided at no extra cost!

Ben is best known in Ireland for being voted the winner of 'Fame the Musical' which was broadcast over ten weeks last year on RTE One. Ben has just returned from Holland, where he was an original cast member of the new Gary Lloyd production of Hair (Tour including Ahoy Arena, Rotterdam).

Other theatre credits include ‘Nick’ on the Irish Tour of Fame the Musical having won the role on the RTE TV search. Fiddler on the Roof (Savoy Theatre, West End), Jesus Christ Superstar (National Concert Hall, Dublin), Listen to my Heart (Smock Alley, Dublin), Oh What a Lovely War (Irish Tour), The Shadow of the Glen (Union Theatre, London) and Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk (Cork Opera House), Cinderella (Gaiety Theatre) and Aladdin (Eastbourne).

Ben's special guest appearances as a singer include an Irish International Soccer Match at the RDS Stadium as well as being invited by the President of Ireland to sing at her Garden Party in Áras an Uachtaráin. Film & Television credits include: The Tudors, Divestment, Delphine and Detained.

Ben is from Tallaght, Dublin. At 18 he moved to London to train on the three year Musical Theatre Degree Course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (under full scholarship) graduating in 2007.
