Musical Theatre & singing lessonsMusical Theatre and Singing

During Musical Theatre / Singing classes the Teacher will develop the natural voice e.g. tuning and projection. Classes consist of learning new music, exploring the material of a variety of genres, from musical theatre to current popular hits. Children will learn new techniques and approaches to singing, as well as broadening their knowledge of musical repertoire in a fun and inclusive way.

All voices, no matter how big or small can benefit from Musical Theatre / Singing class. We encourage singing with confidence in both solo and group work. Emphasis is placed on performance and the enjoyment of learning new songs.

Group singing is also a great way for children to learn how to work as a team, as they find out how important their role is within the group. Even those who wouldn't consider themselves singers, acquire the strategic approach to singing. Our singing classes encourage a new kind of engagement and appreciation of music, all the while building the confidence to literally 'sing out' and have heaps of fun!

Physiologically, singing improves breathing, strengthens core muscles and releases endorphins. Recent research also indicates that a wide range of music experiences have a powerful effect on influencing language development, as well as increasing concentration, memory, visual and listening skills, spatial orientation and physical coordination.

Our classes are filled with laughter, excitement and fun as teachers encourage students to reach their full potential while at the same time treating all students according to their needs.
